Traditional Wooden Cracket

Our handmade wooden crackets are a simple, sturdy piece of traditional furniture with a long history. Traditionally used in cottages and farmhouses, crackets were also taken down into the coal mines in the North East, giving miners a small seat while they worked underground.

Our four-legged wooden crackets were one of the first items we started making to help fund our work supporting people experiencing homelessness in the North East.

Practical and versatile, they can be used as a stool, side table, bedside table, or plant stand, making them a great addition to any home.
