A Young Supporter Making a Big Difference
Sometimes, it’s the simplest acts of kindness that mean the most.
During his summer holidays, this lovely young man chose to take time out of his day to visit our Homeless Hub in Bishop Auckland, bringing with him a fantastic donation of bottled water and other essential items for people experiencing homelessness.
There was no fuss and no expectation of recognition, just a young person wanting to do something kind to help someone else.
At a time when we so often hear about the negatives, we think moments like this deserve to be celebrated and shared. Acts of kindness like this remind us just how caring the younger members of our community can be and the difference that even a simple donation can make.
A huge thank you from everyone at Cornerstone. Your kindness is very much appreciated, and we hope you know what a difference your thoughtful gesture will make to the people we support.
What a lovely young man.
