Hartlepool Homeless Hub Urgently Needs Your Help

Hartlepool Homeless Hub Urgently Needs Your Help

In the early hours of yesterday morning, our Homeless Hub in Hartlepool was broken into and ransacked.

Sadly, almost nothing was left untouched. Essential items that we rely on every day were taken, including food, tea and coffee, along with cash donations that had been kindly given to support some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

It was heartbreaking to see the Hub in this state, but we will not let one awful act stop us from being there for the people who need us.

We urgently need your support

We now need to restock our cupboards and replace the everyday essentials that were taken so we can continue supporting people experiencing homelessness and housing distress across Hartlepool.

You do not need to go out and spend a fortune. If you are able to have a look in your cupboards at home, even one or two items would make a real difference.

We are currently in need of:

  • Tinned beans, spaghetti, soup, tomatoes and vegetables
  • Tinned peas, sweetcorn and potatoes
  • Tinned meat and fish
  • Tinned fruit
  • Pasta, rice and noodles
  • Pasta and curry sauces
  • Instant mash and instant meals
  • Cereal, porridge and oats
  • Biscuits, crisps and snack bars
  • Long-life milk
  • Cup-a-Soups and gravy granules
  • Tea bags and coffee
  • Sugar and hot chocolate
  • Squash, cordial and bottled water

Where to donate

Donations can be dropped off at:

Cornerstone Homeless Hub

Please never think that your donation is too small. One tin, one packet of pasta or one bag of sugar all add up and help us keep the Hub stocked for the people who rely on our support.

Prefer to make a cash donation?

If you would rather help us replace essential supplies with a financial donation, every penny will go towards helping us restock the Hub and continue providing support to people in need.

One terrible act will not undo the kindness and compassion that we see every day from the Hartlepool community.

From everyone at the Hub, thank you for standing with us and helping us continue to be there for those who need us most.

Let’s End Homelessness Together. 🧡💙
