CALLOUS thieves targeted Cornerstone’s delivery van recently leaving the charity with a hefty £1500 repair bill and their customers facing delays on their orders.
On the evening of Monday, February 8, the crooks crudely hacked off the catalytic converter and pipes causing huge damage and forcing deliveries to be cancelled at the last-minute.
Cornerstone worked hard to cut these to a minimum of four days. Police have been informed and an investigation is under way. CCTV from the building identified suspects of the crime and will form part of the ongoing investigations into the incident.
